The action program of the Provincial Party Standing Committee has set a goal of striving for Nghe An to become one of the centers by 2030.tourismof the North Central region and is an attractive destination of the whole country. In which, forming products with the Nghe An tourism brand, including: Kim Lien Special National Monument (Nam Dan), Cua Lo Beach Tourist Urban Area and Vinh City Tourism Service Center.

These three localities will form a “tripod” in developing products and services to attract tourists and increase tourism revenue. Currently, the number of visitors and tourism revenue of these three localities accounts for over 90%, and the number of travel agencies accounts for over 84% of the province.

That means when coming to Cua Lo, visitors not only swim in the sea and enjoy seafood but also experience the life of coastal residents with their livelihood, daily activities, spiritual life and cultural traditions. Through that, visitors have the opportunity to better understand the flow of life and the beauty hidden behind the villages and neighborhoods of the coastal town.

Vinh City has initially had success with its walking street held every Friday and Saturday evening, attracting thousands of people andtourist. Activities and services on the walking street are increasingly diverse, meeting the needs of tourists, especially young people.

In addition, historical and cultural relics that have been preserved, restored and upgraded such as Emperor Quang Trung Temple, Hong Son Temple, Diec Pagoda, and Vinh Citadel also contribute significantly to attracting tourists.

And Nam Dan district, with the focus of Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, and destinations such asDai Tue Pagoda, Phan Boi Chau Memorial Area, Hoanh Son Communal House...

At the same time, the village space in Kim Lien commune is built with traditional colors with fragrant lotus ponds, green bamboo hedges, hibiscus hedges, and fruit-laden gardens. Some homestays have been formed, along with the birth of Bac Que Sen Cooperative with unique products, contributing to meeting the increasing needs of tourists.

The connection and cooperation between the three localities in tourism development has been formed many years ago. In the current context, this cooperation needs to be further strengthened and enhanced.

Building new destinations

The issue of development cooperation "Three localities, one journey, many experiences" between Vinh city, Cua Lo town and districtNam Danwill promote the potential, advantages, and unique tourism products of each locality to link and build brands and destinations.

Because this cooperation has been established for many years, the geographical distance between the three localities is not far, tourism products are quite diverse, and there are many destinations chosen by tourists from all over the country.

Ms. Tran Thi Cam Tu - Vice Chairman of People's CommitteeVinh citysaid: To cooperate more effectively, every year the 3 localities will organize surveys, evaluate, build and announce 1-2 joint tours, in which, integrating a variety of products to satisfy the experience needs of tourists.

At the same time, organize tourism promotion and advertising associated with digital transformation, coordinate to welcome Famtrip and Presstrip delegations to survey tourism, coordinate to build destination brands and common tourism identity of 3 localities...

From the perspective of tourism business, according to Mr. Vo Hong Sang - Director of Thai Son Travel Company, all 3 localities have the potential to exploit and develop tourism products. Current products have been in use for a long time, need to be renewed, supplemented to be more diverse to attract and retain tourists and increase competitiveness with other provinces in the region.

For example, Cua Lo Town has completed the Nghi Thuy fishing village destination and will soon build a cable car system to Song Ngu Island. Vinh City will continue to add business and service activities to the walking street to attract visitors from other provinces. In particular, Nam Dan District can build more tourist attractions such as Luc Nien Citadel in Nam Kim Commune, the soy sauce processing village in the town, visit the King Mai Temple and explore the remains of Van An Citadel.

“In addition, Nam Dan district can expand the lotus growing area, preserve and restore the characteristics of the countryside, organize Vi, Giam and Hat Phuong Vai Folk Song Clubs to serve tourists. Thus, Vinh city, Cua Lo town and Nam Dan district are the three key localities for tourism development in the province, with great potential and advantages in tourism development, with many different and unique products to complement each other. Linking the destinations of the three localities will create multi-type and multi-experience tourism products to attract tourists.
