Nghe An: Woman struck by lightning while gardening
(Baonghean.vn) - While weeding in the garden, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phu (residing in Nghi Phong commune, Nghi Loc district) was struck by lightning and died.
On July 21, the authorities of Nghi Phong commune, Nghi Loc district, said that the family and the hamlet had just organized a funeral for Ms. Nguyen Thi Phu (born in 1973, residing in hamlet 21, Nghi Phong commune, Nghi Loc district) after she was struck to death by lightning.
At about 5:00 p.m. on July 20, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phu was weeding in the garden when it started to rain, accompanied by wind and thunder.
Suddenly, a bolt of lightning struck directly into Ms. Nguyen Thi Phu's house, causing her to lie unconscious in the garden.
Upon discovering the incident, the family took Ms. Phu to the hospital for emergency treatment, but the victim died.
