The family of Mr. Cụt Văn Thành in Huồi Cam village, Nậm Nhoóng commune, has 3 sao (approximately 0.3 hectares) of cassava, and expects a yield of about 4 tons of cassava tubers this year. At the current price of 2 million VND/ton (2,000 VND/kg), this will generate an income of about 8 million VND. This is a considerable income, especially given the severe economic impact of the pandemic on the local people. (Photo: Tiến Đông)
