According to the assessment of Nghe An Center for Disease Control: In the recent past, the Covid-19 vaccination work in the province has received close attention and direction from the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Health; the coordination and support of departments, branches and sectors at all levels, especially the Education and Training sector. Many localities in the province have taken drastic measures to implement the Vaccination Campaign... However, in some localities, there are still cases of slow vaccination, vaccination not on schedule and not reaching the vaccination rate as directed by the Government.

Must complete injection of over 250,000 doses of vaccine within 7 days

At the conference, representatives of local leaders and medical units shared lessons learned in implementing Covid-19 vaccination; raised difficulties and problems that need to be resolved so that Covid-19 vaccination can achieve the set goals.

Difficulties and limitations in the implementation of the Covid-19 vaccination campaign include: Some local Party committees, authorities and organizations lack strong involvement and direction. Arrangement of vaccination during working hours is difficult.

Many children are on summer vacation and transition to grade level, so it is difficult to organize vaccinations at school and health stations. The rate of population movement (coming and going) is large after the epidemic in many localities.

In addition, people are complacent in the context of the epidemic being controlled. Many people who have contracted Covid-19 do not agree or are hesitant to get the next doses of the vaccine. Many parents do not agree due to concerns about the long-term effects of the vaccine on the health of children aged 5-11.

In addition, some districts did not update vaccination data in a timely manner; reporting the number of injections was inaccurate compared to the amount of vaccines provided.
