Over the past time, the Steering Committee, the supporting subcommittees and agencies, units and localities have led, directed and deployed the preparation work for the drill according to plan, ensuring quality; in which some agencies and localities have organized trial drills to gain experience such as the Department of Transport and the Department of Health.

At the conference, after listening to agencies and units report on progress and preparations forDefense Zone Exercise, provincial civil defense; the conference discussed and agreed on a number of contents, focusing on unifying the contents at conferences on operating mechanisms in the 2022 provincial defense and civil defense area drills.

Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Exercise Organizing Committee requested that, based on the functions and tasks of each sector, after the conference, agencies and units continue to research, complete and supplement their agencies and units; combine theory and practice closely to the local situation and characteristics.

He emphasized that the time for the 2022 Nghe An province defense and civil defense exercise is approaching, with the first trial exercise scheduled for August 11-12. He requested that agencies and units further promote coordination and cooperation; proactively review preparation contents, especially document systems and scenarios.

At the same time, agencies and units also need to proactively and seriously implement measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic before, during and after the exercise so that the 2022 Nghe An province defense and civil defense exercise takes place successfully, achieving the required goals according to the set plan.
