Nghe An temporarily suspends operations of non-public preschool centers and facilities

This decision is related to the epidemic situation in the province when in recent days many cases of SARS-CoV-2 virus have appeared. Some localities such as Vinh city, Nghi Loc, Quynh Luu and some communes and towns are implementing lockdown and social distancing according to Directive 15 or Directive 16. The temporary suspension of activities is to ensure the health and safety of students, trainees, staff and teachers.

To properly implement the directive, the Department of Education and Training also requests that units directly notify students, trainees, staff, teachers and parents to know and seriously implement.

At the same time, assign functional departments of the Department of Education and Training, Department of Education and Training of districts, cities and towns; according to the management hierarchy and assigned functions and tasks, to be responsible for inspecting and supervising the implementation of the policy of temporarily suspending the operations of centers and private educational institutions in the whole province, according to the policy of the Department of Education and Training to focus on the work of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic.

Regarding this decision, Mr. Nguyen Trong Hoan - Chief of Office of the Department of Education and Training said: Recently, after the epidemic situation was basically under control, the Department of Education and Training allowed foreign language and information technology centers and non-public preschools to resume operations. However, facing the complicated epidemic situation, the Department requested units, parents and students to share and strictly implement the directives so that the whole industry can do a good job of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic, ensuring the safety of teachers and students.
