Despite the remarkable results, tourism development is not yet commensurate with the position and great potential of the region. Notable problems include: the number of tourists is relatively large but unevenly distributed, total tourism revenue is still low, not attracting the high-end tourist market, limited tourism infrastructure, and lack of technical facilities. In particular, the connectivity in tourism development is still limited, especially the connectivity in building specific tourism products and in promotion and advertising activities.
