Nghe An: Approved plan to allocate nearly 920 billion VND for poverty reduction

The Resolution on the development investment capital plan from the Central Budget to implement the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction for the period 2021-2025 and 2022 in Nghe An province, along with detailed allocation of this capital source, was approved by the 18th Nghe An Provincial People's Council at the recent 9th session.

Accordingly, the total investment capital for development of the central budget to implement the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction in Nghe An for the period 2021-2025 is 918 billion 868 million VND.

This capital is mostly allocated to implement projects to support investment in developing economic and social infrastructure in poor districts with a total amount of 803 billion 895 million VND with 43 projects implemented in the districts of Ky Son, Tuong Duong, Que Phong, and Quy Chau.

The remaining amount is allocated to implement the project of developing vocational education and sustainable employment with a total investment of 114 billion 973 million VND, including 2 sub-projects.

Of which, the Sub-project on vocational education development in poor and disadvantaged areas has a total investment of VND 89 billion 300 million with 3 projects and the Sub-project on supporting sustainable employment has a total investment of VND 25 billion 672 million with 2 projects.

In 2022, this capital source will be allocated VND 305 billion 531 million to implement 39 projects. Of which, Project 1 supporting investment in developing socio-economic infrastructure in poor districts will be allocated VND 276 billion 516 million to implement 36 projects.

The project on vocational education and sustainable employment was allocated 29 billion 015 million VND to implement the sub-project on vocational education development in poor and disadvantaged areas, with 26 billion 790 million VND allocated to implement 2 projects. The sub-project on supporting sustainable employment was allocated 2 billion 225 million VND to implement 1 project.
