Nghe An: Highlights on December 16

*BThe Executive Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee has just issuedConclusion on the socio-economic situation,State budget in 2020; directions and tasks in 2021. According to this plan, Nghe An's gross regional domestic product (GRDP) growth rate in 2021 will reach 7.5 - 8.5%.

*SOn December 16, under the chairmanship of comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Military Service Council, the Provincial Military Service Council (NVQS) held a meeting to evaluate the results of leadership and direction in the selection and call-up of citizens for military service in 2020, and to deploy tasks in 2021. Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Duc Trung requested that sectors and localities need to implement more drastically and strongly inrecruitment, improve the quality of recruitment.

*CAlso on the morning of December 16, comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee went toconstruction inspectionThe Provincial Defense Area Exercise Command in Nghi Cong Nam Commune (Nghi Loc). Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the shooting range, the comprehensive training ground of the Provincial Military Command and accepted the live ammunition firing. Through the actual inspection, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the training work of the Provincial Military Command.

*SOn December 16, the working delegation of the Ministry of Transport led by Deputy Minister Nguyen Nhat had a working session with the People's Committee of Nghe An province on the matter.review, speed up progressimplementing compensation, support, resettlement, and relocation of technical infrastructure works to serve the site clearance of the North-South Expressway Project in the East phase 2017-2020, the section passing through Nghe An province. Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Nhat said that the disbursement progress up to this point has only reached 86%, which is slow. Therefore, localities must pay special attention and speed up the disbursement in 2020. Regarding site clearance, it has reached nearly 90%, the remaining amount is not much, however, these are complicated issues, so the province needs to establish a "hot" handling team to thoroughly resolve them, not to let them linger for a long time.

*CChairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung has just signed and issued Decision No. 4252/QD.UBND dated November 25, 2020 on approvingInspection plan for 2021of the Provincial Inspectorate. According to this decision, 6 universities and colleges under the Provincial People's Committee will be inspected in 2021, including: Nghe An University of Economics; Vinh University of Medicine; Vietnam-Germany Technical Vocational College; Vietnam-Korea Industrial Technical Vocational College, Nghe An Pedagogical College; Nghe An College of Culture and Arts.

Nghe An College of Education is one of six schools included in the inspection plan of the Provincial People's Committee on financial management, capital construction investment and land management.
