*PSpeaking at the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh proposed that the Provincial People's Council supplement and amendpolicy for redundant staffarising from the implementation of the Central's new policy in Resolution No. 15/2019/NQ-HDND, dated November 11, 2019 of the Provincial People's Council.

Reality shows that currently, communes, wards and towns in the province must simultaneously streamline the payroll according to Decree No. 34/2019/ND-CP of the Government, while implementing the policy of bringing regular police to communes and merging commune-level administrative units with a total surplus of 694 people. Therefore, it is proposed that the Provincial People's Council supplement and amend the policy for surplus cadres arising from the implementation of the new policy of the Central Government in Resolution No. 15/2019/NQ-HDND, dated November 11, 2019 of the Provincial People's Council.

*SAfter a temporary break due to the Covid-19 epidemic, Cao Thang night street in Vinh city officially reopened on May 20. However, it was noted that,Some booths are not working.despite being registered. According to preliminary statistics, nearly 50% of the stalls at Cao Thang night street are often absent and operating intermittently.

*Monetragic drowninghappened in Quynh Tam commune (Quynh Luu) causing the death of two biological sisters. The leader of this commune said that on May 23, NTP (11 years old) and his biological sister NAT (9 years old) (both living in hamlet 3B, Quynh Tam commune, Quynh Luu district) after coming home from school, invited each other to go to their grandparents' pond to bathe but unfortunately drowned.

*NOn May 25, the Investigation Police Agency of Ky Son District Police (Nghe An Province) said: The unit is completing the procedures toinitiate a case, prosecute the accusedagainst Kha Thi Huong (born in 1965), residing in Xop Nhi village, Huu Lap commune, Ky Son district, for stealing cows.

Previously, on May 22, Ky Son District Police received consecutive reports from Mr. Luong Van Tuan, residing in Na Luong 2 village, Huu Kiem commune and Mrs. Kha Thi Khuyen, residing in Xop Nhi village, Huu Lap commune, both in Ky Son district, about: These two families had their cows broken into by thieves. Deploying professional measures, on May 22, the authorities quickly identified Kha Thi Huong as the culprit who stole the two cows of Mr. Tuan and Mrs. Khuyen.
