Accordingly, through inspection at the fresh bamboo shoot processing facility of Mr. Nguyen Van Thi (born in 1971), residing in Block 2, Ben Thu Ward, the Economic Police Department (Nghe An Provincial Police) in coordination with Ben Thuy Ward Police discovered a large quantity of damaged bamboo shoots soaked in toxic chemicals.

Specifically, at the time of inspection, at Mr. Thi's house there were 13 blue 150-liter drums and 18 yellow snake bags containing bamboo shoots weighing nearly 3 tons that did not ensure food safety and hygiene, and did not have a certificate of facility meeting food safety and hygiene conditions.
