Nghe An receives more than 18.55 billion VND to support people in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters
(Baonghean.vn) - According to information from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, as of 5:00 p.m. on October 9, 7,253 groups and individuals had registered to support relief work through the Provincial Relief Committee, with a total amount of 18.55 billion VND.

During the weekend, many units and organizations, in addition to directly presenting support money at the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, also visited many localities to visit, encourage and personally hand out meaningful gifts to people, such as: Thanh Thanh Dat Company Limited supported people in flood-hit areas of Nghe An province with 100 million VND; Lam Hong Business Club in Dong Nai directly presented gifts to people in Thanh Chuong and Ky Son districts. This time, the Club supported people in Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces with a total amount of 670 million VND (of which Nghe An was 350 million VND).

After receiving support money from groups and individuals, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has promptly allocated money to provide emergency support to local people to overcome natural disasters. At the same time, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and other levels coordinated with localities to select support beneficiaries so that groups and individuals could visit, encourage and help people overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
