Nghe An continues to face landslides and flooding
(Baonghean.vn) - According to the forecast of the Central Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the flood downstream of Ca River in Nam Dan will peak at 6.5m, with a high risk of flash floods, landslides, and flooding in Nghe An.

Floods on the lower reaches of Ca River (Nghe An) are rising slowly; La River and the lower reaches of Ngan Pho River (Ha Tinh) are falling slowly. Water level of Ca River at Nam Dan is 6.05m (at 4:00 am/12), 0.65m above BĐ1; Ngan Sau River at Hoa Duyet: 8.4m (at 1:00 am/12), 0.6m below BĐ2; La River at Linh Cam is 4.26m (at 1:00 am/12), 0.24m below BĐ1.
Forecast:In the next 12 hours, the flood in the lower reaches of Ca River will continue to rise; La River and the lower reaches of Ngan Pho River will continue to fall. Water levels on the rivers are likely to be as follows: Ca River at Nam Dan will rise to 6.3m, 0.6m below level 2; Ngan Sau River at Hoa Duyet will rise to 8.0m, 0.5m above level 1; La River at Linh Cam will rise to 4.0m, 0.5m below level 1.
Warning:In the next 12-24 hours, the flood downstream of Ca River at Nam Dan will peak at 6.5m, 0.4m below BĐ2; then slowly decrease.
There is a high risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas in Nghe An province. Especially in the districts of Ky Son, Con Cuong, Tuong Duong, Quy Chau, Que Phong, Quy Hop.
