Nghe An continues to welcome more than 200 citizens returning from abroad
(Baonghean.vn) - Among the more than 200 citizens returning home this time, there are many children following their parents to avoid the epidemic.
Colonel Duong Minh Hien - Deputy Commander of Nghe An Provincial Military Command said that in the early morning of May 5, the province received 213 citizens to be quarantined for 14 days at Nghe An Pedagogical College. These are citizens returning from Laos and Thailand through Cau Treo border gate.
"It is expected that this afternoon, we will receive about 50 more people returning to the country through Nam Can border gate," Colonel Hien added.

Thus, the number of citizens being quarantined at the provincial level in Nghe An has increased to 264. In addition, there are 17 cases being quarantined at home, 6 cases being quarantined at the district level and 8 cases being quarantined at medical facilities.
To date, Nghe An has taken samples of 7,585 cases for Covid-19 testing, of which 7,583 people have negative results, the remaining 2 are still waiting.
