Nghe An looking for motorbike taxi driver who transported Covid-19 patient
(Baonghean.vn) - A motorbike taxi driver transported 3 passengers from Vinh airport, one of whom tested positive for Covid-19.
On July 5, the Nghe An Department of Health issued an urgent notice about a location related to Covid-19. In the notice, the Department of Health is looking for a motorbike taxi driver who transported 3 passengers from Vinh Airport at around 1:30 p.m. to Nghi Lien Commune Police Station at 4:10 p.m. on July 1.
This motorbike taxi driver is related to the 20-year-old patient, causing the entire village 12 (Dien Thinh commune, Dien Chau) to be locked down again after less than a day of stopping social distancing according to Directive 16.
Accordingly, this young man traded at Binh Dien market - Ho Chi Minh City. On June 23 and 24, the patient was tested rapidly in Ho Chi Minh City with negative results. On July 1, the patient from Ho Chi Minh City arrived at Vinh Airport and was tested rapidly with negative results.
After arriving at Vinh Airport, the patient and two others took a motorbike taxi to the blockade point in Nghi Lien Commune to catch a taxi to their hometown in Village 12, Dien Thinh Commune and were quarantined at home. On July 3, the patient was sampled and the test results confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
