Nghe An summarizes the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army

On the morning of August 17, the Nghe An Provincial Military Command held a conference to review the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army.

Attending the conference were comrades: Lieutenant General Tran Vo Dung - Political Commissar of Military Region 4; Major General Phan Van Sy - Deputy Chief of Politics of Military Region 4; Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

The conference focused on comprehensively assessing the situation and results of implementing the 1999 Law on Officers, amended and supplemented in 2008 and 2014, and detailed regulations and implementation instructions.

Accordingly,Provincial Military Commandhas led and directed the implementation of many synchronous measures to implement the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army, detailed documents guiding the implementation of the Law in the unit, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation. Organized the study, dissemination, and dissemination of resolutions, decrees, circulars, instructions and basic points of amendments in the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army.

The Provincial Military Command has regularly done a good job of training and fostering professional skills for officers in the process of performing their duties, especially some comrades who have to simultaneously take on many jobs that are not in line with their training major.

The Party Committee and commanders of agencies and units under the Provincial Military Command have regularly paid attention to and taken good care of implementing military policies andmilitary rear, creating conditions to help officers feel secure in their work, identify their tasks well, contribute to improving the quality of building a team of officers with good qualities, capacity, and motivation; exemplary in complying with the organization's assignments and mobilizations, ready to receive and fulfill assigned duties and responsibilities, and promptly meet mission requirements.

At the conference, the opinions presented focused on clarifying the difficulties, obstacles and shortcomings in implementing the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army; the results achieved, the causes of limitations, and at the same time proposed solutions and measures to implement the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army, improve the quality of the officer team in the agencies and units of the Provincial Military Command, contributing to building a clean, strong and exemplary Party organization; a comprehensively strong unit that is "exemplary and exemplary".

Specifically, in the coming time, the Provincial Military Command will continue to comprehensively and systematically deploy, ensuring the successful completion of the contents and tasks in implementing the Law on Officers; focusing on reviewing, supplementing, directing the implementation of planning and perfecting command and management staff at all levels; building a contingent of officers with sufficient quantity to meet the new staffing needs, with increasingly high quality, reducing the ratio of surplus and shortage of officers according to their titles to meet the requirements of training tasks, combat readiness and the objectives of the project to organize the Vietnam People's Army in the period of 2021-2030 and the following years.

On this occasion, the Nghe An Provincial Military Command awarded Certificates of Merit to 5 collectives and 10 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army./.
