Nghe An awards 42 outstanding works on the theme of studying and following Uncle Ho

The award for composing and promoting literary, artistic and journalistic works on the topic of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style has received active response and participation from the province's artists and press.

In 2019, the Provincial Campaign Organizing Committee received 102 entries of all kinds.

The Organizing Committee selected 34 works to participate in the Central-level awards, including 1 press work that won the national B prize, which is the work: Setting an example for party members and cadres: Continuous tasks, regularly implemented, by the group of authors Xuan Thong - Mai Hau (Nghe An Public Security Newspaper).

Through the evaluation of professional councils, it is shown that the number of works is increasing, the quality is better, the genres are richer and more diverse. The authors all have invested, researched materials, discovered new elements to put into their works.

The promotional composition award shows the deep affection and boundless love of the artists and press for beloved Uncle Ho and their interest in studying and following his ideology, morality and style in society.

However, there are still some limitations such as the propaganda work about the award has not reached all members of the literary and art association and journalists, so many artists and journalists have not participated. The number of new authors participating in the award is still limited; the works have not had many breakthroughs in terms of content and form of expression...

The final jury selected the best journalistic and literary works in all categories, including 4 first prize winners, 13 second prize winners, 17 third prize winners, 5 consolation prizes and 3 promotion prizes.

Through awarding creative awards and promoting literary, artistic and journalistic works on the theme "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style", the aim is to motivate and encourage artists, journalists and people from all walks of life to promote their enthusiasm and capacity to continue creating and promoting this theme.

The award ceremony is one of many meaningful activities held on the occasion of the 130th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2020).
