Assessing the security and order situation in the province in June, the conference had many opinions concerned about the forest fire situation and forest fire prevention and fighting (PCCCR). Regarding the investigation into the cause, Colonel Nguyen Manh Hung - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department said that the Investigation Police Department had examined the scene of the forest fire in Dien Chau, Yen Thanh and Do Luong districts; and had issued an order to summon a number of subjects to serve the investigation into the cause of the forest fire.

Regarding the forest fire situation, the conference heard a representative of the Forest Protection Department report on the forest fire situation in the province in June. Accordingly, in June, the area of ​​forest burned was 88.28 hectares, of which the damaged forest area was 33.67 hectares (of which 1.07 hectares were natural forests, the rest were planted forests). The forest fire in Sub-area 895B, Khoanh 5, 6 in Dien Loi commune (Dien Chau) burned 20 hectares out of a total of 70 hectares of forest burned.

Representatives of the Forest Protection Department also reflected on the inadequate structure of forest ranger staff. Newly recruited forest ranger staff are given priority to mountainous areas, while the force in the plains is quite thin.

The PCCR force with 20 additional contracted personnel at the grassroots level has now been disbanded according to regulations; the province has 3 PCCR mobile teams, but their numbers are scattered and they have to take on many other tasks, which more or less affects the rapid response work in PCCR.

The conference also gave opinions on speeding up the resolution of complicated and prolonged cases such as compensation for land clearance on National Highway 1A; some other prolonged cases... For cases related to violations in paying forest environmental service fees in Tuong Duong district, the Internal Affairs Committee will closely monitor to advise on strict handling... "If not resolved soon, it will reduce or gradually lose people's trust in the Party's leadership" - Head of the Internal Affairs Committee of the Provincial Party Committee Le Duc Cuong emphasized.

Before that, the conference assessed the security situation in border areas, mountainous areas, ethnic minorities; some religious, economic, cultural security situations as well as social order and safety. Notably, there were 14 fire and explosion incidents, including 9 forest fires (an increase of 10 cases compared to May).

In June, there were also 14 traffic accidents, killing 7 people and injuring 11 people; 12 gambling cases were discovered with 63 subjects, seizing 280 million VND; 196 cases of drug trafficking and use were arrested with 260 subjects, seizing 2.24 kg of heroin, 6.25 kg of crystal meth, 0.9 kg and 36,000 synthetic drug pills. The provincial inspectorate conducted 78 socio-economic inspections at 79 units, discovering 8 units violating with a total amount of 2 billion 343 million VND.
