Nghe An: Tracing 180 F1 related to new community Covid-19 infections

Morning of November 16,Nghe An38 Covid-19 cases were recorded, including 4 community cases in Khanh Hop and Nghi Thuan communes (Nghi Loc) and My Son commune (Do Luong).

InKhanh Hop commune(Nghi Loc), 2 cases of Covid-19 infection in the community are a mother and child residing in Quyet Chien hamlet. Currently, the locality has locked down 30 households, over 100 people in this hamlet, and set up 7 checkpoints around the hamlet to control people coming in and out.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tich - Chairman of Khanh Hop Commune People's Committee said: "The locality has identified 70 F1s of these 2 cases and is continuing to trace them, of which 31 F1s are children in the same kindergarten class as the child. The remaining F1s are siblings and relatives of the family. A week ago, the mother attended a parent meeting, so there were also F1s who were parents of the children. Currently, the F1s have been quarantined at the old medical station in the area."

InNghi Thuan commune(Nghi Loc), the Covid-19 infected case resides in Nam Nhan Hoa hamlet. The locality has now locked down the entire hamlet with a total of nearly 600 households and is seeking permission to test all residents in the area. The local government is currently tracing the patient's F1 contacts to quarantine them according to regulations.

InMy Son commune, Do Luong district, the Covid - 19 infection case in the community announced on the morning of November 16 was assessed as very complicated. The patient is a Youth Union officer of the commune, recently participated in the local epidemic prevention work as well as volunteer activities, so came into contact with many people.

Currently, My Son commune has traced 110 F1 of this patient and quarantined them at 2 locations, including a kindergarten and a primary school in the area. In addition, all officials of My Son commune are currently quarantined at the commune People's Committee headquarters because they have been in contact with the patient in the past.

Community Covid-19 infections announced on the morning of November 16

1. Patient D.Q.Â, male, born in 1989. Address: Hamlet 1, My Son Commune, Do Luong District. On November 15, the patient showed signs of fatigue, sore throat, and mild fever, so he went to the health station to report. Here, the patient was tested quickly and the result was positive. After that, the patient's sample was taken and sent to the Oncology Hospital. On the evening of November 15, the result confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

2. Patient HTN, female, born in 1977. Address: Quyet Chien Hamlet, Khanh Hop Commune, Nghi Loc District. On November 15, the patient appeared tired and had a runny nose, so she went to the health station for a rapid test with a positive result. The patient's sample was sent to the CDC with a confirmed positive result for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

3. BN NDA, female, born in 2019. Address: Quyet Chien Hamlet, Khanh Hop Commune, Nghi Loc District. The patient is the daughter of patient HTN, announced at the same time. On November 15, the patient's sample was taken and sent to CDC with the result confirming positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

4. Patient HTH, female, born in 1990. Address: Nam Nhan Hoa Hamlet, Nghi Thuan Commune, Nghi Loc District. On November 15, the patient went to Nghi Thuan Health Station for a rapid test with a positive result. The patient's sample was sent to the CDC with a confirmed positive result for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
