Nghe An: Tracing hundreds of F1s related to 11 Covid-19 infections in the community

Morning of November 23,Nghe Anrecorded 50 new Covid-19 infections, including 11 community cases in 4 localities including Vinh City, Thanh Chuong, Que Phong and Tan Ky.

In Vinh City, the Covid-19 patient resides in Block 9, Ben Thuy Ward. Local authorities have sealed off the patient’s residence at Lane 2, Vo Thuc Dong Street and taken samples from people in the area.

InThanh Chuong district, a Covid-19 infection case in the community residing in Dai Dong commune, a student of Thanh Chuong 1 High School, therefore had contact with many students. Currently, Thanh Chuong district has traced 112 F1 of this patient, most of whom are students of classes 10A1 and 10T1.

Currently, Thanh Chuong district also requires Thanh Chuong 1 High School, Ton Quang Phiet Middle School, and schools in Thanh Dong commune to temporarily close until further notice.

InQue Phong district, 3 cases of Covid-19 infection in the community residing in 2 blocks Co Nong and Bac Son, Kim Son town. The locality has locked down 9 households in these 2 blocks, sprayed disinfectant, and collected samples for testing.

Mr. Hoang Trung Cuong - Chairman of the People's Committee of Kim Son town said: "These 3 patients are working at the Que Phong District Medical Center, recently participated in vaccination work, sample collection... in the area, so they came into contact with many people. Currently, the locality has traced 50 F1 of these 3 cases and the number of F1 is expected to increase because the patients are still continuing to declare...".

InTan Ky district, 6 cases of Covid-19 infection in the community were announced on the morning of November 23, recorded in 3 communes of Nghia Hoan, Nghia Thai and Nghia Dong. Director of the Department of HealthNghe AnIt is assessed that the Covid-19 epidemic situation in Tan Ky district is becoming very complicated; especially in Nghia Dong and Nghia Hoan communes, the epidemic has entered schools.

The leaders of the Department of Health also requested the authorities of Tan Ky district to step up the investigation and trace as quickly as possible the F1 cases related to the cases, to avoid being missed; to carry out a wide zoning to identify the epidemic situation. In addition to the three communes of Nghia Hoan, Nghia Thai, Nghia Dong, it is necessary to assess the town area, Giai Xuan commune, Tan Phu commune to consider and propose solutions to prevent the epidemic.

1. Patient NPĐ, male, born in 2006.Address: Phat Son hamlet, Dai Dong commune, Thanh Chuong district. On November 17, the patient had symptoms of headache, dizziness, and fever. On November 22, the patient took medicine at home but did not get better, so he went to Thanh Chuong General Hospital for examination. Here, the patient was tested quickly and the result was positive and a sample was taken and sent to the provincial General Hospital. On the evening of November 22, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

2. Patient LST, male, born in 1983.Address: Co Nong block, Kim Son town, Que Phong district. On November 22, the patient showed signs of fatigue, cough, and fever, so the Medical Center (TTYT) conducted a rapid test with positive results. The patient's sample was then sent to the CDC, and on the evening of November 22, the results confirmed that he was positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

3. Patient VTT, female, born in 1978.Address: Co Nong block, Kim Son town, Que Phong district. The patient is the wife of patient LST who was announced at the same time. After the patient's husband tested positive, the patient was tested quickly and had a sample sent to the CDC. On the evening of November 22, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

4. Patient NDV, male, born in 1971.Address: Bac Son block, Kim Son town, Que Phong district. The patient is a colleague of patient LST who was announced at the same time. After patient LST tested positive, the patient was tested quickly and a sample was sent to the CDC. On the evening of November 22, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

5. Patient NTH, female, born in 1986.Address: Block 9, Ben Thuy Ward, Vinh City. On November 21, the patient felt tired and had a fever. On November 22, the patient was tested rapidly and the result was positive. A sample was taken on the evening of November 22 and the result confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

6. Patient VVN, male, born in 1948.Address: Thuan Yen hamlet, Nghia Hoan commune, Tan Ky district. On November 22, the patient was tested rapidly and the result was positive. The patient was then quarantined and a sample was sent to the CDC. On the evening of November 22, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

9. Patient with PTHT, female, born in 1989.Address: Van Giang hamlet, Nghia Thai commune, Tan Ky district. On November 22, the patient had symptoms of fever and sore throat, so he went to Tan Phu commune Health Station for a rapid test with a positive result. The patient was then quarantined, samples were taken and sent to the CDC. On the evening of November 22, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

10. Patient NTTD, female, born in 1979.Address: Nghia Dong commune, Tan Ky district. On November 22, the patient had a fever so he went to the health station for a rapid test with a positive result. The patient was then quarantined, samples were taken and sent to the CDC. On the evening of November 22, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

11. Patient D.PKM, female, born in 2007.Address: Nghia Dong commune, Tan Ky district. On November 22, the patient had a fever so he went to the health station for a rapid test with a positive result.
