Nghe An fines many restaurants that deliberately violate social distancing orders

(Baonghean.vn) - In recent days, authorities in Truong Thi ward have fined many shops that opened to serve customers despite the ban, with a fine of 7.5 million VND for each violation.

At 8:30 a.m. on April 8, the functional forces of Truong Thi Ward Police inspected and discovered that C3 Bread shop at 121 Vo Thi Sau Street was still open to sell to customers.

This is one of the cases that had been previously warned but still deliberately violated. With the above behavior, the authorities made a record and submitted it to the Vinh City People's Committee to issue a decision to fine the restaurant owner 7.5 million VND.

Previously, at 7:00 p.m. on April 5, the authorities of Truong Thi ward also fined Mien Nhiet Doi restaurant, which specializes in serving food and drinks, at 37 Ho Tung Mau, with a fine of 7.5 million VND.

It is known that, up to this point, this is the 6th case in Truong Thi ward to be fined during this inspection, not to mention nearly 10 cases fined for not wearing masks.

Major Le Van Son - Chief of Police, Deputy of the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control in Truong Thi Ward said: According to the provisions of Point c, Clause 4, Article 11 of Decree No. 176/2013/ND-CP dated November 14, 2013 of the Prime Minister "Failure to implement the Decision to apply measures to temporarily suspend business and service activities in public places to prevent and control the epidemic" has a fine of 5 - 10 million VND.

Based on the above fine, the ward's functional forces continue to inspect and handle strictly and thoroughly.
