Nghe An: Fines for car drivers who weaved and swerved on National Highway 7
(Baonghean.vn) - According to information from the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Province, after receiving images of a small car running through Dien Chau district, continuously weaving and swerving, the department quickly verified and handled the situation.
Accordingly, on the afternoon of August 26, based on the verified information, the Provincial Traffic Police Department directed the Road Traffic Police Team No. 2 to directly contact the vehicle driver to invite him to work. Here, the driver of the car with license plate 329.20 whose violation was shared online confessed to being Nguyen Thanh T. (born in 1974), residing in Dien Thanh commune, Dien Chau district.
Through the process of working with the Road Traffic Police Team No. 2, Mr. T. admitted to the violation of "Driving a car in a zigzag manner" at about 12:30 on August 24, 2022 while driving a car with license plate 37A-329.20 on National Highway 7 from Dien Cat commune, Dien Chau district to Dien Chau town.
After being explained by the Traffic Police, Mr. T. realized his violation, asked to comply with the handling according to the law and promised not to repeat the offense.

With the above violation, Road Traffic Police Team No. 2 has drawn up an administrative violation report against Mr. T for the act of "Driving a car swerving and weaving".
Pursuant to Point b, Clause 7, Article 5, Decree No. 100/2019/ND-CP dated December 30, 2019 of the Government (amended and supplemented by Decree No. 123/2021/ND-CP dated December 28, 2021 of the Government), a fine of VND 10,000,000 to VND 12,000,000 shall be imposed; In addition, the driver shall also have his/her driving license revoked for 2 to 4 months.
