Tran Gia Bao, a student of class 3C at Duc Son Primary School, said: My house is near the river, but since I was little, no one has taught me how to swim. Therefore, joining the class, in addition to being instructed in swimming skills by the teachers, I also get to practice some skills to handle dangerous situations that I may encounter on the river. I find it very fun and useful.
According to Phan Nguyen Thi Anh Thu, a 4C student at Duc Son Primary School, these are extremely useful lessons because in addition to improving health and increasing height, they also help her and her friends learn how to prevent drowning.

According to Mr. Nguyen Canh Dung - Principal of Duc Son Primary School: Currently, the school has only implemented it for students in grades 3, 4, and 5, based on the voluntary participation of each student and their family, not compulsory. However, this subject has received a great response from the majority of students and parents. The school's goal in the near future is to have 100% of the school's students participate in swimming lessons and know how to swim./.
