Mr. Nguyen Van Hoang - owner of fishing boat NA 802067 in Son Hai commune said: "Today is sunny and the weather is favorable, so the crew members got off the boat to prepare for the trip after the storm. In addition to refueling and providing enough necessities, I asked the crew to check the electrical grid systems on the boat to ensure safety. Based on experience, after the storm, the water flow changes, so the boat is likely to catch a lot of squid, so everyone is actively preparing to make the trip in time."

To go offshore, each ship prepares 300 - 1,000 ice trays, hundreds of liters of oil, along with food and water to go offshore for about 7 - 10 days.

Mr. Ho Van Tinh, a crew member of Quynh Phuong ward (Hoang Mai town) said: “The ship returned to rest for a few days and then stayed home to avoid the storm for almost a month now. My brothers and I decided that after the storm was over, we would go out to sea immediately in the hope of having a good catch. From now until the end of the year, we will celebrate every catch we make, because storms often appear at sea this season.”

Mr. Bui Xuan Truc - Deputy Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Quynh Luu district said: "After storm No. 4, many vessels actively went offshore to fish, however, there are still some vessels that have stopped until the 17th and 18th of the lunar calendar to go fishing. We coordinated with the Lach Quen Fishing Port Management Board to inspect and remind fishermen to ensure safety on fishing vessels before going offshore, including paying attention to the power grid system, reinforcing and repairing damaged parts due to long-term inactivity. In September, the whole district exploited over 48,000 tons of seafood, equal to 60% of the yearly plan and strives to reach an output of 65,000 tons from now until the end of the year"./.
