Vietnamese beauty burned to death in UK, 2 suspects arrested
The case involving a young Vietnamese woman whose body was found in a burned-out car went to trial in the UK on August 19. Two suspects appeared in court charged with murder.
The victim was Quyen Ngoc Nguyen, 29, who was remembered by close friends as "the most beautiful and kind girl".
On the morning of August 15, emergency services were called to Success Road, in the Shiney Row area of Sunderland, after receiving reports of a car on fire.

After controlling the fire, authorities discovered the body of the victim identified as Quyen Ngoc Nguyen inside the car.
According to local media, Quyen Ngoc Nguyen lives in Killingworth, North Tyneside.
Two men, Stephen Unwin, 39, of St Oswald's Terrace, Houghton, and William McFall, 50, of Waterloo Road, Blackpool, have been charged with murder.

Both appeared at Newcastle Magistrates' Court, which is part of Newcastle Crown Court, on August 19. Authorities at the hearing said the charges in the case were so serious that they could only be tried in the Crown Court.
The presiding judge told the two suspects: "You will be returned to detention until August 22, when you will be returned to this building but at the appeal hearing."
Family and friends of victim Quyen Ngoc Nguyen sat in a public gallery during the two-minute hearing. They wore white mourning scarves and carried photos of the victim.

Speaking outside court, a friend of the victim said: "She was the most beautiful and kind girl, everyone loved her."
According to a friend, after hearing the news of Quyen Ngoc Nguyen's death, many people from Birmingham and London traveled to see her one last time, to look at her photo.
Quyen Ngoc Nguyen is known to have a young son. She has completed her MBA and is working in the business sector in the UK.
