Woman in Nghe An found 10 million VND and posted an ad looking for the owner to return it.
(Baonghean.vn) - After a day of posting on social media, a woman in Thanh Thuy commune, Thanh Chuong district returned 10 million VND that she found to the person who lost it.
On the evening of July 15, at her private home in Thi Tu village, Thanh Thuy commune (Thanh Chuong district), witnessed by police officers and representatives of the Border Guard, Ms. Tran Thi Nhung (45 years old) returned the wallet and 10 million VND that she had picked up to Mr. Phan Xuan Sang (29 years old), residing in hamlet 3, Thanh Khe commune, Thanh Chuong district.

Ms. Nhung said that the day before, on her way to pick up her son from school to visit home, when passing in front of the gate of Dang Thuc Hua High School, in Trung Duc village, Vo Liet commune, she picked up a black wallet.
When she opened her wallet, she saw 10 million VND and an ATM card in the name of Phan Xuan Sang. She immediately took a photo and posted a notice on her personal Facebook page to find the person to return it.

After nearly 1 day of posting, on the afternoon of July 15, Mr. Phan Xuan Sang went to Ms. Nhung's house to ask for the wallet and the money he lost. Mr. Sang shared: "The afternoon before yesterday, I went to Ro Bank and dropped my wallet on the street. Honestly, I didn't know where I dropped it and didn't think I would get it back. Luckily, Ms. Nhung picked it up and let me get it back. I was very happy and deeply moved by Ms. Nhung's noble gesture."
Sharing her feelings when returning the money to Mr. Sang, Ms. Nhung said: When I opened my wallet and saw only 500,000 VND bills, I thought whoever dropped this would be very sad and regretful, so I immediately posted it online.
It is known that Ms. Nhung is a trader, her husband died early, she is struggling to raise 3 children alone. Now her eldest son has graduated from university, her second son is in his 3rd year at the Information Officer School, and her youngest son is only in 4th grade.
