'Pioneer' of economic development in Cam Hoa
(Baonghean.vn) - As a parishioner of Dong Lam parish, Mr. Lang Duy Chung in Cam Hoa village, Cam Son commune (Anh Son) is one of the "pioneers" in the movement to change crop structure and develop the economy.
While walking among the tea hills, Mr. Lang Duy Chung said: “In the past, my family, like most households in Cam Hoa, had a very difficult life. Our income only depended on the alluvial land along the river and a few fields in the market niche. Almost every year, we were flooded, so our income was very unstable.
Since 2006, the pilot tea planting program began. Initially, only 6 households participated. Later, seeing that tea trees brought economic efficiency, the area was expanded. Now, the total area of the village is over 110 hectares, and life has also improved significantly.
