Brown planthoppers 'eat' clean many rice fields in mountainous district of Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn) - Up to 350 hectares of summer-autumn rice in the mountainous district of Que Phong are infected with brown planthoppers; of which, hundreds of hectares are severely infected, at risk of total loss, many families will not have rice to harvest in the near future.

Hundreds of hectares of winter-spring rice in a mountainous district of Nghe An are at risk of being lost due to brown planthopper infection.

(Baonghean.vn) - Up to 350 hectares of summer-autumn rice in the mountainous district of Que Phong are infected with brown planthoppers; of which, hundreds of hectares are severely infected, at risk of total loss, many families will not have rice to harvest in the near future.
Nearly 250 hectares of rice in Dien Chau are infected with high density of planthoppers, at risk of crop failure.

(Baonghean.vn) - Although it is ready to harvest, many summer-autumn rice fields in Dien Chau district are currently infected with high density of planthoppers. Due to farmers' subjectivity, the rice fields infected with planthoppers are spreading, with the risk of losing many hectares.
