Many support policies for small traders to do business at Tan Ky market
(Baonghean.vn) - As reported, the old Tan Ky market will be closed to put the new market into operation. Currently, the People's Committee of Tan Ky district has agreed with the market construction unit on preferential support policies for small traders.
On compensation and site clearance
Mr. Hoang Quoc Viet - Chairman of Tan Ky District People's Committee, said: Tan Ky District has worked with investors and agreed on a number of preferential policies for small traders to do business in the new market in addition to the general compensation plan for site clearance.
Specifically, for the two projects: Tan Ky market construction, ownership and business investment project and Tan Ky district event center, hotel and comprehensive service project; immediately after the site clearance compensation plan is approved by the competent authority, the investor commits to arrange sufficient funds to transfer to the Tan Ky district site clearance compensation council to carry out compensation work according to regulations.

Support of 1,500,000 VND for small traders to move assets, goods... from the old market to the new market; Support from 1,000,000 VND to 5,000,000 VND for small traders in the old market who build or expand stalls... with written permission from the Town People's Committee when moving to do business in the new market.
Exemption from business location usage fee for one (01) year for households that have been doing business at the old market according to the priority list provided by Tan Ky Town People's Committee and 10% reduction in rental price for the following year.
Exemption from business location usage fee for 06 months for new households when starting business at new markets.

In addition, there is a policy to continue supporting small traders (from June 28, 2019):Exemption from business location usage fee for two (02) years for households that have been doing business at the old market according to the priority list provided by Tan Ky Town People's Committee.
Small traders who are not in the above priority list but are currently doing small retail business in the town in particular and Tan Ky district in general and want to do business at the new Tan Ky market will be given priority to receive a business location and will be exempted from business location rent for 06 months from the date the new market officially comes into operation.

The unit also reduces the price of stalls to make it easier for people to do business. Specifically: Priority traders in the old market who want to contribute capital to use business locations at the new Tan Ky market will receive price support from the Investor from June 28, 2019 onwards as follows: Stalls with a total value of less than VND 200,000,000 will be reduced by VND 10,000,000; Stalls with a total value of over VND 200,000,000 will be reduced by VND 20,000,000.
