Many Tet activities for the poor in localities

In Quy Hop,Comrade Ho Le Ngoc - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Quy Hop District Party Committee led the way to visit and present gifts to families of wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs and former soldiers imprisoned by the enemy in Lien Hop, Chau Loc and Tam Hop communes, Quy Hop district.

At each destination, leaders of the District Party Committee, Standing Committee of the People's Council, and People's Committee of Quy Hop district kindly visited and encouraged policy families to continue to overcome difficulties in life and welcome a new spring of joy and happiness.

On this occasion, Quy Hop district divided into 4 groups to visit, present gifts and wish a happy new year to 30 typical families with meritorious services to the country in the whole district. Each gift is worth 600 thousand VND.

Here, the delegation of the Provincial Statistics Office presented 30 gifts including instant noodles, rice and 200,000 VND in cash to 50 poor households in the commune; presented 825 notebooks to students of Chieu Luu Primary School. Supported a gift worth 1.5 million VND to a poor student who overcame difficulties in the commune. On this occasion, the delegation also presented cash gifts to the Party Committee and the government of Chieu Luu commune.

The total value of the gifts awarded is more than 23 million VND, this is the amount of money contributed by officers and employees in the Nghe An Statistics sector with their salaries to help poor communes in the West.

From the socialized contributions of organizations, individuals and women's union members in the whole district, on this occasion, the Women's Union of Quynh Luu district presented 20 gifts, each worth 700,000 VND including 500,000 VND in cash and gifts including candy, clothes... to 20 women's union members with especially difficult circumstances in the communes: Quynh Long, Quynh Giang, Quynh Hong, Quynh Ngoc, Ngoc Son, Quynh Tam, Tan Son, Quynh Hoa, Quynh Hau and Quynh Bang.

The delegation visited and presented gifts to the family of wounded soldier Lang Van Nguyen in Hong Son hamlet who was infected with Agent Orange and the family of Mr. Truong Cong Quang - wounded soldier 4/4 in Bau Sen hamlet, Giai Xuan commune, each gift included gifts and 1 million VND in cash. Here, the district leaders kindly asked about the health and sent their best wishes to the families of the policy for a happy and prosperous New Year 2019.

On this occasion, Tan Ky district leaders organized 11 delegations to visit, give gifts and wish a happy new year to 22 disadvantaged policy families in 22 communes and towns in the district with a total value of gifts of more than 22 million VND.

Thien Tam Fund gave each poor household a gift worth 500,000 VND, hoping that each poor person in Nghi Loc would have a warm and happy Lunar New Year.

During this period, 300 gifts were given to poor households in 10 communes of Yen Thanh district. Each gift worth 500 thousand VND including cash and candy, contributing to encourage and help the poor and families with meritorious services to have a more complete traditional Tet holiday.

Here, the delegation presented 20 gifts, each a warm blanket worth 200,000 VND, to poor but excellent students.

Also in Tan Ky, the Red Cross of the districtvisited and gave gifts to people in difficult circumstances in the district.

The delegation presented 15 gifts, 2 breeding cows, many items, necessities and cash, the total gift amounted to more than 50 million VND to people in difficult circumstances in 5 communes: Nghia Binh, Dong Van, Tien Ky, Nghia Dung, Tan Huong... and patients being treated at the District Medical Center.

This is the amount of money taken from the district's humanitarian fund from the charity music night fundraising program held on the evening of December 29, 2018. Accordingly, the music night's organizing committee raised more than 175 million VND. This amount was donated to people in unfortunate circumstances, orphans, families with meritorious services, and poor households in Tan Ky district, with the hope of helping them celebrate the Lunar New Year 2019 more warmly and fully.
