Many meaningful activities to support the poor
(Baonghean.vn) - On October 21, all levels, sectors, and mass organizations had many activities to support the poor in Dien Chau, Tuong Duong, Tan Ky, and Quy Hop.

*Dien Chau Red Cross Society in coordination with District Youth Union and Young Doctors ClubDien Chau organizes free medical examinations and medicine for the poor in 4 communes of Dien Thanh, Dien Phuc, Dien Tan and Dien Thinh.
Volunteers from the Dien Chau Young Doctors Club examined and provided free medicine to more than 400 elderly people, people with disabilities, and people in difficult circumstances in 4 communes: Dien Thanh, Dien Phuc, Dien Thinh and Dien Tan, with a total cost of nearly 20 million VND.
Along with health check-ups and medication for common diseases, doctors also advise and guide people on how to prevent diseases. Serious cases are advised and referred to medical facilities for timely treatment.

Officers and soldiers of Tam Hop Border Guard Station helped Lau Ba Xo's family in Pha Lom village, Tam Hop commune build a new house and supported the family in building the house. Officers and soldiers of Tam Hop Border Guard Station voluntarily contributed funds to buy roofing sheets worth 10 million VND and mobilized forces to support working days along with the villagers to help build the new house.

*Dong Van Commune Delegation (Tan Ky)Organized a Green Sunday volunteer campaign with the participation of more than 120 young union members with activities such as visiting, cleaning the environment and gardens to help families of war invalids and martyrs; preparing land to grow clean vegetables for students of Dong Van 1 Kindergarten.
*On the same day, a number of philanthropists visited, encouraged and gave nearly 12 million VND to the family of teacher Phan Thi Tuyen, Chau Binh Kindergarten (Quy Chau) inQuynh Tien hamlet, Tam Hop commune (Quy Hop).
As reported by Nghe An Newspaper, on the afternoon of October 18, on her way home from work, teacher Phan Thi Tuyen, born in 1988, was driving a motorbike from Chau Binh commune to Quy Hop district when she reached hamlet 3/4, Chau Binh commune and collided with a car going in the same direction driven by Mr. Tran Xuan Cong, principal of Chau Thuan Primary School. The collision caused Ms. Tuyen to die on the way to the emergency room.
It is known that Ms. Tuyen currently has 2 children, the first child is only 2 years old, the second child is only 8 months old and is living with her grandparents.
