Many meaningful activities towards the Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Nghe An province
The Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign has completed phase 1 with many outstanding marks, thereby creating an exciting competitive atmosphere towards the Congress of the Youth Union of Nghe An province for the term 2024 - 2029.
Promoting the youth of the armed forces
In recent days, more than 2 sao of rice of Mrs. Vi Thi Kim (65 years old in Chieng village, Hanh Dich commune, Que Phong district) has taken root well. She said that this rice field area was prepared and planted by officers and soldiers of the Hanh Dich Border Guard Station Youth Union for her family. This activity is a meaningful help because her family is single-parent and her husband is blind, so their situation is very difficult.
Over the past time, the Hanh Dich Border Guard Station Youth Union has always encouraged, visited and supported her family in many important tasks. Thanks to that, the difficulties have also been reduced a lot.

In Tuong Duong district, the Tam Quang Border Guard Station's Youth Union over the past summer months has also helped people build 5 solidarity houses supported by the Vinh City Front Committee in Tung Huong and Tan Huong villages of Tam Quang commune. Along with that, the officers and soldiers of the Station also jointly supported the construction of a "Happy House" for Vieng Van Thanh, a 3rd grade student at Tam Quang 2 Primary School, residing in Tung Huong village, which was awarded by the Central Youth Union in the "March Border Month" program in 2024.

In addition to the above meaningful activities, the Border Guard youth also organized gifts for students in the program "Bringing children to school - Adopted children of Border Guard stations" who have especially difficult circumstances and strive to study well.
At the same time, coordinate with local Youth Union organizations to clean the sea at Quynh Phuong beach (Hoang Mai town); Dien Trung commune beach (Dien Chau district) and support mountainous localities to participate in building rural roads, contributing to completing the targets of building new rural areas in difficult areas.

Deployed since the beginning of June, "Green March" is one of the four outstanding campaigns of the 2024 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign to promote the pioneering role of young people in the armed forces in building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, social security activities, volunteering for community life, and protecting the Fatherland.

To achieve that goal, right from the beginning of the campaign, the provincial Border Guard youth actively coordinated with local Youth Union organizations to deploy many movements and activities, focusing on border areas and difficult areas to deploy activities suitable to reality. From there, contributing to the comprehensive development of the province.
As for the youth, Nghe An Police have also carried out many meaningful tasks, such as: Strengthening the force to guide people to perform online public services; presenting the national flag road, presenting playgrounds for children, building "Mural roads", "Flowering electric poles"...

At the same time, at the entrance exams for grade 10 and high school graduation, Nghe An police youth established rapid response teams, organized traffic diversion; assisted students who forgot their exam cards or whose vehicles broke down on the way to the exam; and provided hundreds of free meals and drinks. At the exam sites, the force combined to distribute leaflets to parents of candidates about the 10 new points of the 2023 ID Law.

It can be affirmed that since the beginning of the campaign, the youth of the armed forces have carried out many practical projects and tasks, thereby not only promoting responsibility and vanguard spirit in performing professional tasks but also making efforts, volunteering, and joining hands for community life.
Reaching many important goals
In remote areas, areas with difficult economic conditions, and border areas, the youth of the whole province have focused on implementing activities to support the construction of cultural institutions and infrastructure. At the same time, they have implemented the construction of youth projects and social security activities.

In just the first month of the Summer Campaign, the whole province built 7 new charity houses, gratitude houses, red scarf houses, and boarding houses; repaired 36 km and built 9 km of new rural roads; and supported 10,087 children in difficult circumstances...

Along with that, more than 3,000 young volunteers with 210 teams of Nghe An youth have carried out many meaningful and creative tasks to support students and their families at the 2024 High School Graduation Exam.

This year's Exam Support Resources reached nearly 700 million VND to support candidates and their families, including: 250 gifts for disadvantaged candidates; 2,500 cartons of water and fresh milk, 10,000 ballpoint pens, 5,000 paper fans, 500 cold towels, 1,000 free meals, 70 free parking and luggage storage spots...
Entering the first days of the campaign is also the time when Nghe An enters the peak hot season, with many potential risks of drowning for children. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union and the Council of the Young Pioneers of Nghe An province have directed the Youth Union and Young Pioneers organizations at all levels to strengthen propaganda work, and at the same time, mobilize all resources to effectively deploy models to prevent and combat drowning accidents and injuries for children synchronously throughout the province.

By the end of stage 1, the whole province organized more than 300 free swimming classes; more than 250 free English, traditional musical instrument and soft skills classes for children; and repaired and built more than 200 new playgrounds for children.

It can be affirmed that new models and creative approaches from the Summer Youth Volunteer campaign have been widely spread, affirming the role of youth in pioneering the implementation of community-oriented action programs.
The achievements of the Campaign have contributed to creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere towards the 7th Congress of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, term 2024 - 2029./.
