Many emulation movements celebrate the 200th anniversary of the title and 60th anniversary of the establishment of Anh Son district

On the afternoon of June 5, a working delegation of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department led by Comrade Vo Van Dung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, visited Anh Son district to inspect and grasp the situation of propaganda activities in preparation for the 200th anniversary of the name Anh Son (1822 - 2022), 60 years of the district's separation (1963 - 2023).

According to the report at the working session, in preparation for the Anniversary Ceremony to be held on June 11, 2023, Anh Son district has built many works and launched many meaningful emulation movements, which have been widely responded to by cadres, party members and people of all walks of life, such as 501 welcoming works worth more than 123 billion VND from socialized sources.

The district has launched the emulation movement "All for the beautiful homeland of Anh Son" with many contents such as: administrative reform, new rural construction, replication of effective economic models, good people, good deeds; launched the contest "Learning about the 200-year history of the name Anh Son, 60 days of the district's establishment", attracting 9,055 entries; published the book "History of Anh Son District Party Committee" and the book "Geography of Anh Son District". Established 12 delegations to visit and give gifts to families with meritorious services to the revolution; organized many rich and diverse propaganda activities such as visual propaganda, on mass media; is preparing to organize upcoming activities such as: women's volleyball tournament, photo exhibition with the theme "Anh Son land and people", Camping with the theme "Anh Son new day"...

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Vo Van Dung acknowledged the achievements in propaganda work and preparations for the anniversary. He suggested that from now until the anniversary, the district should closely review visual propaganda work to avoid mistakes; promote propaganda activities, especially on social networks to spread and promote the image and socio-economic development results of the district; prepare press releases for the anniversary; grasp the situation of public opinion, promptly handle arising situations, and carefully prepare plans to ensure security and order in the area so that the anniversary activities can take place successfully and well./.
