In recent days, the district has...Ky SonMobilized motorbikes from agencies and businesses in the area to operate at full capacity day and night to shovel and transport mud and soil to clear the traffic section of National Highway 7 in Block 1 of Muong Xen town. However, due to the narrow area, it is difficult to mobilize more motorbikes, so up to now the road has not been cleared.
According to the reporter's records, by the end of the afternoon of October 4, the main road in block 1 of Muong Xen town was still not open to traffic, even though dozens of vehicles and machines had been operating at full capacity for many days.

The road to the District People's Committee gate is now cleared. Thus, there is still about 150m from the District People's Committee to Hoa Son spillway bridge and more than 100m of National Highway 7 running through Block 1, Muong Xen town that has not been repaired. The amount of mud and soil on these roads is still very large.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Long - Deputy Head of Economic Infrastructure Department of Ky Son district, the biggest difficulty is that the road is narrow, so it is impossible to mobilize many machines at the same time, so the appropriate number of vehicles must be arranged, so the progress of the repair cannot be faster. However, with a positive and urgent spirit, the generators are operating at full capacity.
With this progress, it is expected that the area will be open to traffic by October 5.Muong Xen townHowever, because there is still a lot of mud in people's houses and it cannot be completely removed, the work of transporting the mud to the dump will continue in the coming days.
"When the roads to Muong Xen town are open to traffic, then vehicles will be able to access and fix landslides on the roads to Tay Son, Ta Ca and Nam Can border gate," said Mr. Nguyen Van Long.

As for other routes, there are still many traffic jams due to landslides. These include National Highway 7 from Muong Xen town to Nam Can border gate; the route from Muong Xen town to Tay Son commune; and the route to Ta Ca commune which is also being cut off.
