Previously, after receiving information from the public, Ky Son Commune Police conducted verification and investigation to clarify that 7 students had purchased chemical mixtures such as sulfur and potassium chlorate online to make synthetic explosives, then used rolling paper and plastic tubes to absorb water to make firecrackers.
During the search, the authorities seized 45 finished firecrackers, 210g of explosives, 460g of sulfur powder, potassium chlorate, rolling paper...
Through investigation, these students confessed to making firecrackers to use during Tet and sell to those in need.

On the same day, Ky Son Commune Police invited the parents and representatives of the school where the children were studying to the Commune People's Committee headquarters to discuss educational measures. At the same time, they asked all 7 students to write a self-criticism and pledge not to produce or set off firecrackers./.
