A group of young men drank and fought in the quarantine area.

The three suspects detained by the police are Thach Oanh Thi (21 years old, from Tra Vinh), Le Chi Thien (26 years old, from Bac Lieu) and Nguyen Hoang Phi Duong (22 years old, from Kien Giang). The incident happened inquarantine areacentralized treatment of Covid-19 patients at Lai Hung Secondary School in Lai Hung commune, Bau Bang district, Binh Duong province.

According to the investigation, on September 10, Duong ordered food and alcohol via social media and had them delivered to the fence of the quarantine area without the control of the quarantine management board. At around 6 p.m. the same day, Duong placed drinks in front of his room and invited Thi, Thien, and some other patients being treated there to drink.

The subjects were arrested by the police.

Upon discovering the incident, Nguyen Quoc Thinh and Nguyen Thanh Khuong, militiamen on duty to maintain security and order in the quarantine area, came to warn them. Duong, Thi and Thien did not comply but resisted and insulted the forces on duty. Then, the subjects rushed in and used chairs to beat Thinh and Khuong.

Thien and Thi escaped from the quarantine area after getting into a fight. At 2 a.m. on September 11, both were arrested by Bau Bang District Police in coordination with the District Medical Center, taken to the quarantine area for treatment and strictly handled according to the law./.
