Faith Volunteer Group builds flood-proof bridges for Dan Lai people

On December 9, at Thin village, Luc Da commune, Con Cuong district,nhcharity FaithCoordinate with Con Cuong District People's Committee to organize the groundbreaking ceremonyflood bridge.

Thin village, Luc Da commune, Con Cuong district currently has 36 households with a total of 134 people who are Dan Lai people. The entire area of ​​Thin village, Luc Da commune is high, rugged, and dangerous hills, with dangerous rivers and streams below. Especially, during the rainy season, the stream water rises, cutting off traffic, especially during the recent flood, the temporary bridge connecting the stream was washed away by floodwaters, isolating people and making it impossible to travel.

Currently, in this area there is no bridge for people to travel, people and students have to cross streams, the water flows fast, causing unsafety. Therefore, investing in building a bridge to avoid floods across Moi stream in Thin village is extremely necessary and urgent.

Previously, Faith Group organized a football tournament.Four Heroes of Faith Cupto raise funds to build a bridge to overcome the flood, helping Dan Lai people and students to travel conveniently. The total amount of money donated is nearly 800 million VND.

With the above donation, the Faith group will build a community bridge 55.2m long, 1.5m wide, with a designed load capacity of 4 tons. The bridge is expected to be completed before the Lunar New Year./.
