A group of teenagers committed 12 thefts from donation boxes in Nghe An.
(Baonghean.vn) -Loving to hang out and play, 4 teenagers from 14 to 16 years old in Nghi Loc committed 20 thefts, including 12 thefts of donation money from churches.
On the afternoon of December 17, the Nghi Loc District Police Department announced that the unit had just successfully broken up a case, arresting 4 subjects including: Nguyen Dinh Huy, residing in Hamlet 8, Phuc Tho Commune; Vo Trung Hau, residing in Hamlet 6, Nghi My Commune; Vo Van Hieu, residing in Thai Thinh Hamlet; Vuong Dinh Tra, residing in Thai Binh Hamlet, both in Nghi Thai Commune, for the act oftheft of property.
Previously, from the beginning of October 2020 until now, in Nghi Loc district and neighboring areas such as Vinh city, Cua Lo town... there have been frequent incidents of property theft in people's homes and money theft in donation boxes of churches.

Typically, on the evening of November 27, a thief broke into the house of Mr. Dang Van Thang in Thai Thinh hamlet, Nghi Thai commune and stole a laptop, worth about 7.5 million VND. Around the same time, the Nguyen Cong family temple in Thai Hoc hamlet, Nghi Thai commune was broken into by a thief, who broke open the donation box and stole more than 14 million VND.
Faced with that situation, the leaders of Nghi Loc District Police directed the Criminal Investigation Police Team on Criminal, Economic, and Drug Crimes to establish a special project to combat property theft crimes.
After a period of persistently studying the operating patterns of the subjects and applying many different professional measures, the task force has established prominent subjects inside and outside the district.
At around 10:00 a.m. on December 15, the Criminal Investigation Police Team on Criminal, Economic, and Drug Crimes (Nghi Loc District Police) coordinated with the Police of Phuc Tho, Nghi Thai, and Nghi My communes to successfully break up the case, arresting the four suspects: Huy, Hau, Hieu, and Tra mentioned above. The seized exhibits included 1 broken donation box; 5 mobile phones; 1 laptop; 1 electric bicycle; more than 10 million VND and other related evidence.

At the investigation agency, the subjects initially confessed: Because of their love of partying, they often stole property and sold it for money to spend. This group committed over 20 thefts, including 12 cases of money theft.donation boxin churches in Nghi Loc district, Cua Lo town, Hoang Mai town and Vinh city.
The theft of a laptop at Dang Van Thang's house in Thai Thinh hamlet and the theft of a donation box at Nguyen Cong family's church in Thai Hoc hamlet, Nghi Thai commune, mentioned above were both committed by this group of people.
Currently, Nghi Loc District Police are consolidating records to strictly handle the subjects according to the provisions of law.
