During the exchange, Korean female Director Anna Jung shared: “Our goal is to build a leading garment company in Nghe An in particular, and Central Vietnam in general, not only in terms of product quality, scale, and revenue, but also in taking care of the lives of workers. We want workers to be happy and joyful in every working hour, so that they are proud to be a member of Wooin Vina”.

As one of the oldest members of the event performance team, Ms. Vu Thi Thuan (born in 1984) shared: “I have been working for the company for 7 years, and there are many people in the company who have been with the company for 10 years - right from the first days of its establishment. Although there are many businesses in the area, we are still attached to the company because all the policies, regimes, and benefits are very good. For the past week, my sisters and I and the Filipino boss have taken advantage of our lunch break and late afternoon to practice the performance for this event, it is so much fun. It is so much fun that since I started working here, everyone has complimented me on being younger, more beautiful, and healthier.”

Having been with the company for 10 years, Ms. Dau Thi Duong confided: “The company’s leaders and the company’s union grasp the wishes of female workers very promptly, building many practical and meaningful programs and activities, making us feel respected. Therefore, we also have to make efforts to contribute to the company, build the company to develop more and more, worthy of their feelings towards us.”

When asked if they intended to stay with the company for a long time, Ms. Thuan and Ms. Duong both affirmed that they would stay with the company forever. From the first 300 workers, after 10 years of establishment, construction and development, up to now, the corporate culture of Wooin Vina Co., Ltd. seems to have permeated 2,200 employees. Every Monday morning, in red shirts with yellow stars, all employees stand solemnly, look up at the national flag and sing the national anthem before starting work. This meaningful ritual has created an atmosphere of "Great Unity - Full of Enthusiasm", building a spirit of solidarity, fostering national pride in the hearts of each worker and laborer and motivating everyone to get to work. Responding to the call of the Board of Directors for the campaign "For a green - clean - beautiful Wooin", 100% of workers and laborers have responded, taking turns picking up trash and cleaning up the company's landscape every day...

The annual "Tet Sum Vay" program commends and rewards hundreds of workers, gives gifts to thousands of workers, organizes cultural exchanges, physical education, sports, football, volleyball, tug of war, folk dance competitions with a total amount of billions of VND. Collective labor agreements with many provisions beneficial to workers. With the motto "the health of workers is the invaluable asset of the company", every year, contracts are organized with medical facilities to periodically check the health of all workers. In addition to taking care of physical health, the company also organizes many recreational activities for workers. Although the company's area is not large, the Board of Directors has decided to set aside a large land fund and spend over 1 billion VND to build a mini football field, 4 volleyball courts, a multi-purpose house and a regulating lake for workers to have a place to play, relax and entertain after stressful working hours...

DREAM FOR THE NEXT GENERATION

At the forum “Enterprises for workers, workers for enterprises” at Green GMC Nghe An Joint Stock Company, a worker stood up and shared: “Both my husband and I are workers, low salary, renting a room, far from home, small children, making life extremely difficult. On days when we have to work overtime due to urgent orders, my husband and I have to ask the teacher to look after our children after hours so we can stay and work. This is inconvenient for the teacher and awkward for us, but there is no other way.”

Sharing the same sentiment, another worker confided: “Although we really want to, we can only find private daycare centers or kindergartens with low fees, we cannot afford to send our children to places with good facilities and good teaching programs. Renting a house and a worker’s salary do not allow our children to have a good educational environment.”

Coming from a background as a teacher, I have certain experiences and knowledge about education, and I myself always want to return to this job, to contribute to it in some way. And I long to be able to open a school for workers' children near our company. It may just be a small school, but it is where the children of Green GMC Joint Stock Company workers can receive the best and safest care without their parents having to worry about high tuition fees or late pick-ups. In particular, at this school, workers' children will learn English from preschool age to confidently integrate...”.

The sentence was interrupted by applause and cheers from everyone. Ms. Do Thi Bich Hao hesitantly looked at the joy of the workers below, trying to hold back the emotions that were about to well up in her eyes.

Before that, when preparing to enter the exchange session between workers and businesses, Ms. Do Thi Bich Hao told her workers: "Please frankly share your thoughts, whether they are good or bad opinions, satisfied or dissatisfied, we really want to hear. Regarding the survey of the Vinh City Labor Federation, please publicly disclose the survey data on the satisfaction level in each category in the most accurate and complete way, I do not need to know the results in advance, I want to listen with my workers". And the survey data on the satisfaction level surprised the guests but did not surprise the people at the company. The satisfaction level is almost absolute, although the salary at this enterprise is not higher than that of enterprises in the same industry.
