Efforts to overcome shortcomings in administrative procedure control
(Baonghean.vn) - This is one of the goals set out at the Conference on implementing Decree 92/2017/ND-CP and training on administrative procedure control in the province on the morning of May 15.
Attending the conference were comrade Nguyen Duy Hoang - Deputy Director of the Department of Administrative Procedure Control, Government Office.
On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders and officers of relevant departments and branches.

In his opening speech at the conference, comrade Le Xuan Dai highlighted the achievements that Nghe An has achieved in the work of controlling administrative procedures in recent times. Notably, the public announcement of administrative procedures applied from the provincial to the communal level has gradually become routine; awareness of the role and importance of this work among cadres, civil servants, public employees and people in the province has been raised, contributing to the province's competitiveness index (CPI) increasing steadily over the years.

In 2016, Nghe An ranked 25th, up 7 places compared to 2015; in 2017, Nghe An ranked 21st, up 4 places compared to 2016, ranking first among the 6 North Central provinces. This is the highest position ever of Nghe An province.

However, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also pointed out the current shortcomings and limitations such as: The consultation on the announcement of new administrative procedures when legal documents are issued and come into effect or are amended, supplemented, replaced, or abolished has not been done promptly; the public posting of administrative procedures at "one-stop" and "one-stop" transaction points is not regular and timely; the settlement of administrative records is still delayed compared to regulations, especially records and procedures on land, policies, etc.
Therefore, how to overcome the shortcomings and improve the effectiveness of administrative procedure control is a necessary requirement.

The conference will take place over two days, May 15 and 16. Delegates will listen to and give their opinions on the overview of administrative procedure control; new regulations in Decree 92/2017/ND-CP and the Circular guiding administrative procedure control; the review and assessment of administrative procedures; methods for reviewing and assessing the conformity of administrative procedures and regulations related to the implementation of online public services;...
