(Baonghean.vn) - Heavy rains and floods in Quynh Luu district have severely affected people's lives and production. Currently, taking advantage of the sunny weather and receding water levels, farmers in the district are focusing on overcoming the situation to prepare for the production season.

Before the floods, the farmers' fields mainly produced more than 80% of the acreage of green onions. Due to flooding, the onions were damaged and withered when the sun came out, so the farmers had to pull them out, clear the flow, and loosen the soil to plant some short-term vegetable varieties.
