According to People's Artist Quoc Hung, many love songs are rich in musicality and the artistic material contained within them is very high, so expressing the quality of these works is not simple, requiring the singer to have full musical emotions, a romantic soul, and to know how to turn music into a journey that they themselves take the initiative in.
"In fact, many songs are like the framework of a romance in Western music, requiring the artist to have new vocal techniques to conquer, such as in the album "Sending the Past" there is the song "Half a Soul of Sorrow". Therefore, performing lyrical works in the romantic music genre also contributes to enriching the artist's soul with new emotions" - People's Artist Quoc Hung shared.

The CD "Sending the Past" was supposed to be released at the end of 2021, but at that time the effects of the pandemic were still present, so People's Artist Quoc Hung and his team decided to postpone the release date until now.
Also during the time of this album's release, music critic Nguyen Quang Long got to enjoy the entire album. Impressed with Quoc Hung's voice when performing love songs, the music critic encouraged him to make a video to introduce it to the public more vividly.
