The play "Storm on Truong Son" was staged by People's Artist Anh Tu based on a script by the late author Truong Minh Phuong. The work is about revolutionary war, taking the audience back to the harsh, fierce period on the old battlefield.
There, female doctor Diem Le (played by artist Quynh Hoa) is pregnant with Captain Vu Bong (played by artist To Dung). Faced with being stripped of his military rank and sent back to Diem Le's hometown, Vu Bong is indifferent as if he is not involved. Meanwhile, foster brother Le Ai (played by Meritorious Artist Xuan Bac) because of his unrequited love for Diem Le, stands up to claim to be the father of the child in Diem Le's womb.
Returning to her hometown, Diem Le still strives to make a living to raise her children and the children of her Central Highlands mother who died in a fire caused by a B52 carpet bomb years ago.

The wound from more than 20 years ago never seemed to heal in Diem Le, so when she learned that her child was working in Vu Bong's company, the mind of the former doctor Truong Son was filled with new storms: hatred, the feeling of betrayal when her trust was stolen... But in the end, with the love and sincerity of her teammates at the same time, the sweet ending came when the adopted child found her roots, Diem Le overcame her hatred to let her child recognize his father...
For nearly 2 hours, the audience experienced all the emotions: joy - sadness - emotion - admiration and finally the echo of warm love between people, between comrades who had together experienced the most fierce days of war.
