The accident happened at 5:00 p.m. on December 8 on National Highway 1A in Dien Truong Commune, Dien Chau District.

At that time, an old man about 60 years old from Dien Ky, Dien Chau was driving a motorbike from the direction of Dien Truong commune's welcome gate to the right of National Highway 1A to go home.

Just as they reached the downstream lane, a truck with license plate 51D-14456 pulling a trailer with license plate 51R-20215 traveling from Hanoi to Vinh hit the vehicle, causing both the person and the vehicle to fly 20 meters.

The old man was critically injured and was taken to Minh An clinic for emergency treatment.
