Candidates for National Assembly deputies include Mr. Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption; Phan Van Quy - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pacific Group Corporation, Vice Chairman of the Central Disaster Prevention Fund; Nguyen Thi Thanh - Deputy Head of the Department of Disease Control of Tan Ky District Medical Center; Mong Van Tinh - Officer of Que Phong District Youth Union and Nguyen Thi Thao - Doctor of the Northwest Regional General Hospital of Nghe An Province.

Candidates for the Provincial People's Council include Mr. Lang Van Chien - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Quy Chau District; Phan Duc Dong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office; Luc Thi Hien - Deputy Head of the Organization and Inspection Board of the Women's Union of Nghe An Province; Lu Thi Chau - Civil servant of the Statistics Office of the People's Committee of Tan Lac Town, Quy Chau; Lang Thi Hong Chau - Judicial officer - Civil status officer of the People's Committee of Chau Hanh Commune, Quy Chau.

Then, the candidates took turns presenting their action programs to a large number of voters. In general, the presentations of the candidates for the National Assembly and People's Council of Nghe An province for the 2016-2021 term demonstrated the enthusiasm and responsibility of the National Assembly and People's Council deputies to the voters.
