Police believe that Dung is a link in the drug injection ring.Vaccine"service".
According to initial information, through professional work, Ho Chi Minh City Police discovered a Facebook account "Kim Zunf" advertising the provision of Covid-19 vaccine services in the area.
Investigations showed that Dung advertised on social media to let more people know about the vaccination service, then collected money and arranged for these people to get vaccinated. Recently, Dung arranged for two people to get vaccinated at a kindergarten in District 11, but the police ambushed and arrested them.
Through the investigation, Dung confessed that he had connections that allowed him to arrange for others to receive the Covid-19 vaccine. Dung advertised on social media that he was organizing vaccination services. When customers contacted him, Dung made a list, asked them to transfer money to his account, and then arranged for them to go to the vaccination site.
On average, Dung charged 4 million VND per dose of vaccine. The police clarified that Dung had organized 21 people to receive “service” vaccinations and collected 61 million VND. These people were not among the priority groups for vaccinations according to regulations.
The case is being further investigated by the police because it is related to other subjects.
