(Baonghean.vn) - Morning of March 18,"Nghe An Province Youth Creativity Contest 2016" was officially launched atLe Viet Thuat High School (Vinh City). The contest is jointly organized by the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations, the Department of Science and Technology, and the Department of Education and Training.

Attending the event were Mr. Vuong Quang Minh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front; Mr. Hoang Xuan Truong - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Union of Science and Technology Associations; representatives of relevant departments, branches and principals and students of secondary and high schools participating in the contest.

Creativity in children and adolescents is a national and international competition, held annually. The competition aims to awaken the potential and promote the creative thinking of children and adolescents, guide them into practical activities, gradually improve their professional qualifications, practice creative skills, and strive to become future inventors.

To popularize and continuously improve the quality of the contest each year, the organizing units regularly have activities to encourage schools and students to participate.
