Car carrying 3 tons of sugar of unknown origin discovered at Vinh Market Bus Station
During the patrol, the Provincial Police Mobile Department discovered a car carrying 3,000 kg of white sugar of unknown origin.
Previously, at around 4:00 a.m. on February 7, while patrolling and controlling the Vinh Market Bus Station area (in Vinh Tan Ward, Vinh City), the Mobile Police Team, Mobile Police Department discovered a car with license plate 74C-025.92 with many signs of suspected law violations.
The Mobile Police Team, Mobile Police Department coordinated with Market Management Team No. 3, Nghe An Province Market Management Department to stop the vehicle and discovered and seized 60 bags of white sugar, with a total weight of 3 tons.
The vehicle owner, TQT (born in 1983), residing in Huong Vinh ward, Phu Xuyen district, Hue city, was unable to present documents proving the legal origin of the above goods.
Currently, the Provincial Police Mobile Police Department has drawn up a record of the incident and handed it over to the authorities for handling according to the provisions of law.
