Passenger bus discovered transporting 17 animals of unknown origin
(Baonghean.vn) - On March 20, while patrolling, the Working Group of the Dien Chau Traffic Police Station (Traffic Police Department, Nghe An Province Police) discovered a sleeper bus transporting 17 animals of unknown origin.

Accordingly, at about 03:15 on March 20, 2022, at Km418 on National Highway 1A in Dien Hong commune, Dien Chau district, the patrol team controlled the StationTraffic policeDien Chau inspected the passenger car with license plate 43B-00034 driven by NVB, born in 1987, residing in Ky Anh district, Ha Tinh province.
Upon inspection, the working group discovered 6 iron and plastic cages in the car’s luggage compartment, containing 17 animals with a total weight of 63kg. Of these, 13 were civets and 4 were porcupines; of the 17 animals, 2 were dead.

Working with the authorities, the driver could not present a quarantine certificate and documents proving the origin of the animals. The working group drew up a record and handed it over to the authorities for handling according to the law.
