PV:Please tell us how you feel when you are introduced to run for National Assembly?

Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Trang:Being nominated as a candidate for the 14th National Assembly is a great honor for me. If I become a National Assembly delegate, I will have the best conditions to directly contribute my opinions to the parliament and participate in performing the functions of the National Assembly.

PV:If elected by voters as a delegate to the 17th National Assembly, in your position, what will you prioritize?

Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Trang:With a Master's degree in Law and 13 years of experience in the executive branch, if elected as a delegate to the 17th National Assembly, I will strive to focus on doing well the following tasks:

Firstly, regularly maintain close contact with voters, always listen, absorb and honestly and promptly reflect voters' recommendations, thoughts and legitimate aspirations to the National Assembly and relevant State agencies for consideration and resolution in accordance with the law.

Take advantage of relationships to promote and pursue to the end the resolution of people's petitions and proposals. Take the initiative to get involved, dialogue, learn in depth to make recommendations, advise, and directly exchange with authorities at all levels in resolving people's petitions and complaints, especially those that are pending, complicated, and prolonged in terms of land, site clearance, and policies for people with meritorious services, etc.

Second, try to spend more time in practice, propose to the National Assembly, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee to issue appropriate mechanisms and policies on social security, especially on the regime for people with meritorious services; on compensation, site clearance, environmental pollution settlement, mechanisms and policies to remove difficulties in the lives of farmers, fishermen, salt farmers...

Third, maximize the right to supervise law enforcement, ensure that the law is applied fairly in life, thereby detecting unreasonable and contradictory points to promptly recommend and propose amendments and supplements.

Fourthly, as a leader of the provincial Civil Judgment Enforcement sector, I will continue to promote my responsibility in directing officers and enforcement officers to actively organize the enforcement of court judgments and decisions, in order to protect the interests of the State, the legitimate rights and interests of organizations, businesses and people, ensure the strictness of the law, and contribute to the socio-economic development of the area.

PV:As a female candidate, what issues related to women's rights that arise in today's life do you worry about?

Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Trang:I am interested in and concerned about issues such as: having a third child, training, loan support, job creation for women; gender equality, domestic violence and issues related to children such as vaccination, health care, child abuse and violence, fostering life skills for children to protect themselves from dangerous situations, and from the negative impacts of the market economy...

In my position, I will further enhance my responsibility in directing and inspecting the organization of the execution of judgments and decisions related to the rights of women, children, meritorious people, policy beneficiaries, and research and recommend competent authorities to resolve and remove difficulties, obstacles, and backlogs related to the above contents.
